My first suggestion would be changes and formation switches on the fly. Pausing the game and making a couple changes can take over a minute, especially with the lag trying to sync the two players together. If you could press a button that brings up your substitutes that you could quickly swap out would save a lot of time.
The next obvious suggestion would to invest in some good servers
I really don't understand why EA doesn't do this. Happy players being able to play more often would almost certainly bring them in a lot more profit.
