FIFA 21: TOTY Nominees Announced

The candidates for FIFA 21 Team Of The Year have been announced by EA Sports earlier today and fans can cast their votes for their 2020 Ultimate XI! The nominees list features no less than 70 players from the ‘Big Five’ leagues that had a massive impact for their clubs last year.

The list is dominated by Liverpool with eight nominees followed by PSG with six candidates, while Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Manchester City have four nominees each. Of course the FC Barcelona superstar, Lionel Messi is on the list alongside the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Robert Lewandoski or Neymar Jr.

There are four different categories that you can vote for, each with a different set of players. The categories are Forwards, Midfielders, Defenders and Goalkeepers. You can choose one goalkeeper, four defenders, three midfielders and three forwards.  Here’s the full lists of the players you can choose from for each category:

The voting will close on January 18 and the winners will most probably hit the packs soon after.
