- There is a fix to play the game with generic controllers: Go to Start-> Run-> (or maybe press the Windows button + R) -> type Regedit -> HKEY_CURRENT_USER ->System->CurrentControlSet->Control->MediaProperties->PrivateProperties->Joystick->OEM-> and there in some of the three folders you should find a file called OEMName->Right Click on it -> Modify.. ->Rename USB Gamepad to ” Logitech Cordless RumblePad 2 ” . After download this Xbox 360 controller files and paste them in your main FIFA 12 Demo folder (Download Here).
- We have the fix for running FIFA 11 & FIFA 12 Demo at the same time!Download this registry file (Here),run it and you’re done!Now you can install FIFA 12 Demo without uninstalling FIFA 11.
- Fix for keyboard users: If you want to play FIFA 12 demo,with the classic keyboard controls,go in my documents -> FIFA 11,and copy buttonDATAsetup.ini file into my documents FIFA 12 folder.
- For USA PS3 users – the FIFA12 demo will go live between 2-6pm PST.
- For Xbox Users: There is an issue with Xbox Live at the moment!They are trying to fix the problem!

FIFA12 demo is absolute rubbish. Gameplay is slow, controls as simple as fifa 08. Where are the improvements? Kick off 2 for the Amiga was better than this rubbish. If you’re after fast fluid gameplay then don’t bother with this pile of …..

but the game is stil on Pro and not on Semi-Pro. It doesn’t change the difficulty level. D’you know why?
Hai guys i got the solution for the generic controllers Go to My documents, and copy the Fifa 11 “ButtonDataSetup.ini” into FIFA 12 save folder (in My documents) 😀
i think i may have figuired y fifa 12 is crashing to straight to desktop could it because i havent got the data5.big files or data5.bh. so if people who have a working version of the demo just check weather u have those 2 files and if so could u be nice and upload them for us all many thanks.

OK here it But Even When my Joystick Is Working i Cant Change the Keys of my Gamepad I tired tht Fix of Gamepad when i save it ..It says you’re Good To Go but when after It My button arent working wht i configured them
2 button Passes and 3 button Shoots tht not wht i Configured CAN SOMEONE HELP ME REGARDING CHANGING THE KEYS OF GAMEPAD the FIXES And the Buttondata copy paste thing Doesnt Work At ALL!

Which gamepad does fifa 12 supports cordless one or both rumblepad with or without cordless works..
Cause i wanna Knw i am buying a gamepad rumble pad 2 and f510 type so the cordless one is expensive then the wire one so i am worrying if i bought the non cordless one will fifa 12 supports it or not?

I’ve installed it fine, but there must be a way to play with PS3 Analog Controller.
If the PC version of “FIFA 12” isn’t compatible with PS3 controller and no solution is there, then that renders it absolutely UNPLAYABLE for me!

About in-game:
I found a few minor/major problems in FIFA 12
1 – FIFA 12 still doesn’t have Automatic Subs (PES does)
2 – I found the shots in-game are too weak (comparing FIFA 11)
3 – FIFA 12 have a huge freezing problem, i have to play in low quality in all option (PES 2012 however i can play in max quality and no problem about that).
The game could be perfect to me if they solves these 3 problems… hope they do!

@jello dude i also did had the same difficulty u had blv me i advise u to go through every folder to find of media folder or control folder then u can easily get there to JOYSTICK folder and remember plug in ur gamepad first then search it of in every reg folder i also did tht …
Cause there should be a folder some where in regedit for the JOYSTICK and MEDIA CONTROLS etc hope IT will Help ya out i DID THE SAME So i got tht folder and remember running regedit in run as administrator mode i turn off my UAC account so everything which i open runs default as administrator THANX!

Have you tried my fix? It remaps joystick buttons. Oh and dont forget to rename “Generic USB Joystick” to your joystick name. Some generic joysticks have “Generic USB Joystick” as their name. (difference is the spaces between words.)

Yes i changed my name wht was the same in wht i did in regedit to change the name …I think it will be same if i changed my name in regedit as ”Logitech Rumble Pad 2″ It will be same in replacing it in ur fix but it dsnt work …

Can anyone help me I have a problem. How do I configure my controller. there are no configuring options in ‘fifaconfig.exe’ I just selected the rumblepad 2 and my controller worked but I need to remap the keys.

The problem is when i try to uninstall the directory is different and asks for autorun.dat i added it manually from the original disk of fifa 11, but still couldn’t find, so im asking about another .reg that changes it back to normal so i can uninstall both games… please help

My right analog stick doesn’t work in full version of FIFA 12, anyone have the same problem? It worked fine in FIFA 12 demo. Gamepad name is “SmartBox FT691”..

Can anyone help. I bought an original FIFA 12 and I selected LOGITECH RUMBLEPAD 2 on controller select and inside the game I cannot use my right analog stick like its not configured. I try to do any tricks but no luck cause the right analog is not configured. How do I configure the keys before the game starts? Is there a software that can enforce controller configuration like in FIFA 11. PLEASE help me out or atleast reply.

I bought my FIFA 12 PC and just got to know that it doesnt even run without internet connection. WTF ? it runs through a program called ORIGIN and unless I have internet connection I can’t login to origin and hence can’t play FIFA 12.
