- There is a fix to play the game with generic controllers: Go to Start-> Run-> (or maybe press the Windows button + R) -> type Regedit -> HKEY_CURRENT_USER ->System->CurrentControlSet->Control->MediaProperties->PrivateProperties->Joystick->OEM-> and there in some of the three folders you should find a file called OEMName->Right Click on it -> Modify.. ->Rename USB Gamepad to ” Logitech Cordless RumblePad 2 ” . After download this Xbox 360 controller files and paste them in your main FIFA 12 Demo folder (Download Here).
- We have the fix for running FIFA 11 & FIFA 12 Demo at the same time!Download this registry file (Here),run it and you’re done!Now you can install FIFA 12 Demo without uninstalling FIFA 11.
- Fix for keyboard users: If you want to play FIFA 12 demo,with the classic keyboard controls,go in my documents -> FIFA 11,and copy buttonDATAsetup.ini file into my documents FIFA 12 folder.
- For USA PS3 users – the FIFA12 demo will go live between 2-6pm PST.
- For Xbox Users: There is an issue with Xbox Live at the moment!They are trying to fix the problem!

@VicCes at the Rename USB Gamepad to ” Logitech Cordless RumblePad 2 ” step try to paste your controller name.If after it doesnt work delete the xbox controller files.

Any idea of a possibility to edit fifa 12 to play longer matches instead of 3 minutes :D?
if you still have problem with fifa11, go to start->run->write “regedit”->OK->go File->Import-> and go to demofix.reg and acticvate this. this work for me 😀 enjoy!

So i can’t use my pads because EA are to lazy to support them? Can’t say im suprised as almost all pc games from ea over the last few years have been crap

There is no map named System under my HKEY_CURRENT_USER. What should I do?
If someone have problems launching FIFA12 and had previously played on that computer FIFA 11 then go (User)/My Documents/Fifa 11 and copy buttonDataSetup.ini to (User)/My documents/FIFA 12. Enjoy

i have installed the demo it work fine with me .. all i have the problem is in my Ea account not signing in …. it say ur email address is not found in ea server but i play online FIFA-11 all the time with the same email adress .. ?? any one can help ?

Guys, what azikj said is very true! I have done exactly what he said and I can play with my Generic USB Gigatech Joystick! The game is awesome, can’t wait for full version! Enjoy guys 😉

it’s so much easier to play with any dual stick controller using x360ce
just go to http://www.mediafire.com/?y2uzxekzzig
copy x360ce.exe in your fifa demo folder (where fifa.exe is located)
run x360ce.exe, answer yes if it asks anything
now you should see a window with an image of a 360 controller
on the left and right u have bumper, trigger etc (names of buttons)
press record for each button and after press the corresponding button on your gamepad. do this for all buttons except stick up, left, right, down and dpad up, left, right, down.
click save
run the game. it should work.
tested on lots of games (including UT3, AC, PoP, Warhammer space marine, Dead Island, Arkham Asylum, Mirrors Edge, Witcher 2 and many more which I dont remember) Worked flawlessly on every single one. If it doesnt work for you it’s your fault 😛

tried the fix and it still doesn’t work..i double click the start and it does nothing..i don’t have fifa 11 on my pc for a while now..if someone wants to help me..
The fix doesn’t work for me, I use Windows 7 x64, maybe that would be the problem?, the fix is for windows 32 bits edition or doesn’t matter the bits of the OS?

I need coppy rna into ea/sports “game” , and i do that but when i go in game took teams and go to setings i can chane dificulty but minutes are stil 3 and they are like freez i can switch it

@Tizzy open the rna.ini file and add this in it SCREEN_SLEEP=16 if you dont have an rna.ini file make a text file and name it rna.ini and place it in the fifa 12 demo folder.
I HAVE PROBLEM WHILE INSTALLING IT SAY THAT CANT FIND SOME FILE BUT THAT FILE IS THERE PLS HELP
I’ve found a way to fix the stuttering.
Just go into “C:\Program Files\EA Sports\EA SPORTS\FIFA 12 Demo\Game\fifasetup” and delete the file “fifasetup_default”.

if you get ”Error applying transforms. Verify that the specified transform paths are valid.” then you have to go to Start>Run>type regedit>HKEY_Class_Root -> Installer -> Products then delete the folder: ”1DC6AEF331AE7EC47AE47AA4A4A0B7C5”.
And you’re good to go
Take a look if you can find the file “buttonDataSetup.ini” in “My Documents\FIFA 11\” folder, you should rename it to “buttonData.ini” and put it into the FIFA 12’s “Game” Folder (in my case “C:\Program Files (x86)\EA Sports\EA SPORTS FIFA 12 Demo\Game”) replacing the one it’s there
You can see than the file i say to rename should’ve the same Date nad time you run the FIFA 11 Config tool

I’m here all day trying all the types of fixes that all of u say but i keep can’t playing with my USB Gamepad, i had past the name to Logitech Cordless RumblePad 2 and nothing, try replace the buttondatasetup of fifa 2011 to fifa 2012 and nothing try with Xbox 360 gamepad fix can that be cause my windows 7 64 bits? can that be cause it’s one USB Gamepad but twin for 2 controls? Can someone help me? Tired of trying all the types of tips and can’t play with control, and play with keyboad suckz! Thanks
x360ce.exe works for me flawless, i´ve got a ps2 controller with USB and now it works like my PS3 pad on fifa11..
