This latest promo takes the place of the recently concluded Team of the Season campaign and promises dynamic, performance-based upgrades for players from the participating national teams.

Understanding Path to Glory

Path to Glory brings a unique twist to Ultimate Team by offering cards that can be upgraded based on national team performances in the summer tournaments. Here’s how it works:

• Base Ratings: Each Path to Glory card starts with a base rating.
• Upgrades: For every win their national team secures, the player’s card receives a +1 upgrade.
• PlayStyle Plus: Achieving three wins grants the player a +1 PlayStyle Plus.

This upgrade mechanism means that the highest-rated Path to Glory players, initially at 96 OVR, have the potential to reach a maximum of 99 OVR by the end of both tournaments.

Festival of Football

The launch of Path to Glory is part of the larger Festival of Football, which marks the beginning of Season 7 in Football Ultimate Team. This event mirrors the excitement of international tournaments with themed content, including live items that evolve based on real-world performances.

New Loan Types in the Festival of Football

In addition to new player cards, the Festival of Football introduces two new types of loans: Timed Loans and Global Loans.

• Match Loans: These remain unchanged and continue to function as usual.
• Global Loans: These apply to all players simultaneously, starting and ending at set times. This type of loan is designed to foster new squad-building opportunities and will debut during the Path to Glory campaign.

When logging into Football Ultimate Team during the Path to Glory campaign, players will receive a Global Loan of a Path to Glory player, providing an international boost to their squad. The entire campaign will end on July 18th.
