FC 25 TOTS Warm-Up: What to Expect Before Team of the Season Begins

Every year, Team of the Season (TOTS) is one of the biggest events in EA FC Ultimate Team. In FC 25, things are kicking off with the TOTS Warm-Up promo. A short but packed event that gives players a chance to get ready before the real TOTS squads start dropping.

What is the TOTS Warm-Up in FC 25?

• Upgrade SBCs
• Objectives with pack rewards
• Evolutions updates
• A return of the “Best Of” players from past promos
• Retro cosmetics from past TOTS years (2018, 2019, 2020)

It’s a way for players to save packs, boost their squads, and get into the TOTS mood before the big cards hit Ultimate Team.

What’s in Packs?

While there are no brand-new TOTS players in packs yet, EA has added a “Best Of” selection from previous Team of the Week (TOTW) squads and other old promos. These returning cards can be found in packs for a limited time during the Warm-Up.

So if you’re opening packs this week, you’re not going to find Premier League or La Liga TOTS cards, but you might get your hands on a strong TOTW or event card from earlier in the year.

SBCs and Objectives

The TOTS Warm-Up is heavy on SBC content, especially for those who like grinding menus. Some expected additions include:

• Daily Login SBCs – just log in and submit a squad each day to earn rewards and bonuses over the week.
• Player SBCs – likely featuring Moments, Flashbacks, and special re-releases.
• Upgrade SBCs – popular options like 80+ x5 or player picks to stack packs for later.
• Showdown SBCs – daily player choices for upcoming matches with upgrade potential.

Objectives are also part of the Warm-Up, offering packs, player picks, and Season Points (SP) as rewards for completing simple tasks, such as winning matches or using specific players.

Evolutions and Cosmetics

As with other FC 25 promos, Evolutions play a big role here. The Warm-Up includes new Evolution paths, letting players upgrade cards and possibly unlock throwback TOTS card designs from FC 18, FC 19, and FC 20.

These designs don’t change player stats, but they give your club a nice nostalgic look. Cosmetic Evolutions are found in their own tab, separate from gameplay-focused upgrades.

TOTS Community Voting is Back

A big feature of this year’s TOTS is the return of community voting for major leagues. For FC 25, EA is letting players vote for their favorite performers in leagues like the Premier League, Bundesliga, and La Liga.

The Premier League voting started on April 18 and runs until April 21. Other leagues will follow after that. You can vote by visiting the official EA SPORTS FC website, selecting players by position, and submitting your lineup.

Voting is expected to open for other leagues like La Liga and Bundesliga in the coming weeks, following a similar format.

TOTS Schedule in FC 25

The Warm-Up is only the beginning. The full TOTS rollout will take place over several weeks, with different leagues getting their own squads each Friday. Here’s the full release calendar based on official info:

• May 2: Premier League, Women’s Super League, EFL
• May 9: Bundesliga, Frauen-Bundesliga, Süper Lig

• May 30: MLS, Saudi Pro League, Rest of World
• June 6: Ultimate TOTS

Each league’s team will be available in packs for one week only, so it’s important to time your pack openings if you’re aiming for a specific league.

TOTS Live – Coming Soon?

One leak suggests that a TOTS Live squad may appear once the Warm-Up ends. These cards would work like past live items, possibly receiving performance-based upgrades depending on real-world results.

While nothing has been officially confirmed about TOTS Live yet, players are watching closely to see if EA goes with this format or introduces something new for 2025.
