FC 25 FUT Birthday Team 2: Van Dijk and Dalglish Lead the New Lineup

EA Sports has dropped the FUT Birthday Team 2 squad in FC 25 Ultimate Team, bringing in a fresh set of upgraded players and PlayStyles. Following a strong start with Team 1, this new release includes top-rated stars like Virgil van Dijk, Kenny Dalglish, and Jamal Musiala, all with significant stat boosts and five-star upgrades.

FUT Birthday Team 2 Overview

FUT Birthday is one of the most anticipated promos in Ultimate Team each year, and Team 2 has added some big names to the mix. Similar to Team 1, every FUT Birthday player comes with five-star skill moves and a five-star weak foot, making them highly versatile in-game.

The standout addition this week is Virgil van Dijk, who leads the squad with a 95 overall rating. FUT Birthday Icons like Kenny Dalglish and David Beckham have also made the cut, alongside current-gen stars such as Julian Alvarez and Samantha Kerr.

A key highlight of this drop is the return of Roma’s legendary trio featuring Victor Ibarbo, Seydou Doumbia, and Gervinho, who now have FUT Birthday Hero items. These cards pay tribute to their past dominance in Ultimate Team and can be upgraded through Evolutions and Objectives.

Just like how FUT market trends shift with major promos, online gaming platforms like playamo casino also see fluctuations in user activity and betting odds during big events. Keeping track of market trends can give players an edge when it comes to making smart decisions.

Return of the Roma Trio

The inclusion of Ibarbo, Doumbia, and Gervinho taps into a wave of nostalgia for long-time FIFA players. All three were fan-favorites in older versions of Ultimate Team, known for their pace and attacking strength. Now, they have Hero cards that can be further improved through Evolution challenges, potentially making them competitive in the current meta.

Top-Rated Cards and New PlayStyles

Van Dijk’s 95-rated card comes with major defensive boosts, making him one of the strongest center-backs in the game. Kenny Dalglish and David Beckham’s Icon cards both sit at 94 overall, and they’ve been given new PlayStyles to match modern gameplay.

Other big names in the lineup include Jamal Musiala, Gabriel Martinelli, and Warren Zaire-Emery, all receiving 94-rated cards with improved stats and new PlayStyles. Even goalkeepers have been upgraded with five-star skill moves and weak foot ratings, which could lead to some creative plays on the pitch.

Alongside the main squad, EA Sports has released new Squad Building Challenges (SBCs) and Objectives tied to the promo. A standout SBC features a 94-rated Yaya Toure, offering a high-powered midfielder with elite stats. Players can also expect more FUT Birthday-themed content throughout the week, including additional Evolution upgrades and daily content drops.

The FUT Birthday Team 2 squad is available in Ultimate Team packs until Friday, March 21 at 6pm GMT / 2pm EDT / 11am PDT. After that, it’s likely that a new promo, rumored to be UEFA Dreamchasers, will take its place.

Team 2 builds on the momentum of the first week, introducing some exciting player cards and nostalgic returns. Van Dijk and Dalglish headline a strong lineup, but the Roma trio’s return is a highlight for long-time Ultimate Team players. With fresh SBCs and Evolutions, this promo adds depth to Ultimate Team and should keep players busy throughout the week.
